Tuesday Twist- Email Madness

I feel like I have written a million emails today. I am starting to see why people say that email can be a productivity killer. Luckily all the emails I sent were very important and lead to some important feedback. I emailed a former manager of mine. I gave her details about what we are building and asked how she would want to interact with the site. I did this because part of our revenue plan is to target HR Managers and managers that hire interns and entry level employees. Nothing innovative there, but we do want to be innovative in the way we provide a solution for them.

The massive amount of email correspondence and the death of my laptop charger, made it harder to focus on the tasks at hand, but I have been holding my own so far. I feel like I am trying to do a million things at one time and completion of one thing leads the start of another.

I think I have to just get over that feeling because in Entrepreneurship the work is never over. Innovation is a process and for an analytical person like me, attempts at innovation never stop. At this very moment I am editing our PowerPoint presentation in order to get it ready for our developer when he comes back from overseas. Exciting things ahead..

How do you handle email madness?
