Just now getting settled from a wondrous dinner with Brian and James Walker. The location was PF Chang’s and the time was after work = much needed! We discussed various topics from politics to social media to the OBJourney. James, being a blogging veteran (Gen Y PR Prescriptions) provided us with some advice on the next steps regarding the blog:

On the ride home from the metro, Brian’s father explained the necessity of not only being in the right place but open and willing to network. Being open and willing to receive the person, who has been placed in your path for a reason. Brian and I truly experienced this tonight, as we attended two happy hour events; one from the DC Social Media Club and the Black Public Relations Society.
