Brian and I came across this song, last night, during one of our breaks during our 8 hour business meeting…yes I said 8 hours! The song features four artists who are speaking from the experience of progressing from nothing to something. Kevin Rudolf, Birdman, Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter, and Jay Sean are success stories based on vision, determination, and execution. How will an “I Made It!” attitude save your business?

Last night’s 8 hour business meeting was in regards to the requested work order, from our web developer. Our assignment is to go as deep as possible into the description of what the site will look like…*take a deep breathe. We’re building a PowerPoint presentation that depicts the capabilities, it is comprehensive and cumbersome…but we’re putting in the work because we have a product we believe in and know we will be SUCCESSful!!

The line of that chorus that stands out to me is …”I’ve known it all my life…” During the break last night Brian and I discussed our reasons for our passion for life. We both agreed it has been with us for all our lives. He told me about how he told his parents he wasn’t going to go to high school and write a book…and buy them whatever they wanted, of course they went along with it (and he’s graduating ODU in the spring). I recall telling my parents that I’m going to get to a point where they wouldn’t have to work any longer (soon enough). With the continual love of our parents, support from our friends, and everlasting favor from the most High…it is time!

There are days when I feel as though we were handed the world and people are looking at me like, what are you going to do with it?…a bittersweet feeling right?

I MADE IT!!! I can speak that because of what I’ve been blessed to become thus far and will become!
