Omojo Odihi – Chief Content Editor, Chief Research Analyst, OBJective Medical Correspondent, Co-Founder (”O”)

Omojo Odihi is truly an internationally cultured young professional.  She lived in Nigeria, her parent’s home country, for 8 1/2 years, prior to moving to Brunei Darussalam where she lived for 7 years.  Shortly thereafter, she returned stateside to Norfolk, VA to pursue higher education. In August of 2008, Omojo graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences, from Old Dominion University.  While in school she worked at the office of Multicultural Students Services, as a Women’s Issues Program Coordinator, where she was one of 18 young women to launch the “Sister For Sister” program; a program that encourages and nurtures the bonds between female students, faculty and staff.  Omojo enjoyed belonging to a variety of college organizations as well as national and international honor societies.

Omojo has a passion for bringing adequate healthcare to the disadvantaged people of the world. Her life goals encompass meeting the needs of those who would otherwise be unable to help themselves. She aspires to be a doctor in the near future and travel the world doctoring. Omojo also has an innate pull towards artistic endeavors, such as music, writes poetry as a form of self-expression, and enjoys spending time with those she loves.  Omojo currently works as a Junior Management Analyst at the Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority, of the Department of Health and Human Services, awaiting her entrance into Medical School in the Fall of 2010.

Brian Citizen – Chief Imagination Officer, Web Navigation Specialist, Co-Founder (”B”)

Brian Citizen is a senior at Old Dominion University (ODU), majoring in Marketing.  He is a multi-faceted young professional who shares interests in writing, music, business, and the all important social media. He is a National Columnist for Gospel Today Magazine, reaching over 275,000 readers bi-monthly and is a two-time ODU Campuswide Target® Case Study Competition winner. Those, among many other accomplishments, propelled him to an internship with marketing giant New Media Strategies, as a sales intern. This position involves researching and developing strategies to help promote and protect client’s brands online.

Every summer, Brian is a missionary to the Island of Jamaica for Friends Forever Missions. Brian’s passion for being a missionary fueled him to co-write, produce, and sing the theme song for Friends Forever Missions.  The song is feature on Friends Forever TV, the most watched television program in Montego Bay, reaching over 144,000 potential viewers daily.  This project and many more, including the OBJourney, will catapult his goal of funding missions trips worldwide.

Joshua Porter – Chief Relationship Strategist, Chief Optimist, Co-Founder (”J”)

Joshua Porter is a precocious young professional with a mission to encourage, inspire, and help people. He has had immense corporate experience with the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection (CBP), where he serves as a co-chair on the agency wide Career Advancement Committee. Outside of CBP, is pursuing his undergrad in business management, while being the Chief New Media Strategist for a candidate in Virginia’s 2010 Congressional election, consulting fellow young professionals when beginning businesses, and volunteering his time for many initiatives. Joshua Porter is an ambitious advocate for young professionals, who enjoys meeting new people, fitness, and traveling.

In addition to being an advocate of young professionals, Joshua has a passion for helping children.  His goal is to create year round programs to ensure children have the proper tools necessary to obtain the best education, get out their dreams, and are inspired to embrace and capitalize on the endless opportunities in life.
